Welcome to our “Teaming Up to Bring Hope” info page. Many people over the years have asked us “how can we help in furthering your outreach to the comatose?” Well, we have come up with a plan that we are very excited about. Let me explain. When our book “Conversations with the Voiceless” was first published in 2005, we had no idea how far reaching it would be. Not so much as in the number of books sold, but how amazingly it seemed to get into the hands of those who needed to hear our story. Even five years later, we are still receiving emails and letters on a regular basis from people who are dealing with TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) or those who know of families/friends dealing with TBI. Often we hear “Your book has put into words that which I’ve been trying to say for years, but haven’t been able, until now. Thank you!” In many instances, we have been able to connect and minister to many of these families. The key word here is “connect”. In this day and age it seems many are connecting through “social networking” (ie: email, facebook, myspace, twitter etc.) The ability to stay in touch with family and friends is like never before in history. In the old days we shared our vision for the comatose, one church at a time and through costly/time consuming newsletters. Though we still continue to share in this manner, we have developed a system and plan to help share our vision beyond where we ourselves can go. This is where YOU come in! No, it’s not going to cost you any money. And you will not have to be a computer programmer to be involved. We are simply asking YOU to team up with us by sharing our story with those in your “social network” (friends, family, co-workers), and starting your own personal fundraising page to benefit this ministry. When you join our “TEAM” as a fundraiser partner, you will be provided with your own “My Fundraising” web page (Completely designed and hosted by us for free). This is where your “network” of people will come to support your fundraising efforts and at the same time monitor your progress. By partnering with us you will enable us to meet our ministry goals, and bring awareness of the more than 2 million head Injured annually. You will be amazed, as you share through your network, at how many lives will be reached and touched as a result. We look forward to hearing and posting your testimonies!
